Education Common Entrance Test-Edcet-2011 Osmania University conducted the Edcet for admission into B.Ed regular course in colleges across the Andhra Pradesh for this 2011-12 academic year. In Edcet-2011 88.78 per cent attendance was reported across the state. 2.13 lakh candidates registered for the exam held in 457 test centers in state. The convener said the qualifying mark in the entrance test for all candidates (except SC/ST) is 37.
Ed.cet 2011 ranks:
Candidates will be ranked in each subject in the order of merit. Where there is a tie, part-C marks will be taken into consideration to decide relative ranking. In case of further tie, the marks obtained in Part-A will be taken into account to decide the ranking. In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, age shall be taken into consideration and older candidates shall be given priority. Admission to 85 per cent of the seats shall be reserved for local candidates. Edcet 2011 results release within 15 days as per schedule. But it seems to be take few more days to announce results.
